MTI Commitment to Protecting Employees Throughout COVID-19 Pandemic
Minerals Technologies Inc. knows that vaccines are the best tool available to protect one another and bring an end to the pandemic, and we have strongly encouraged our employees to get vaccinated for several months.
To keep our workplace environment as safe as possible, Minerals Technologies Inc. will require all new hires in the U.S. to be vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they qualify for an accommodation or where prohibited by state law, effective Monday, August 30th, 2021.
This is an important move to protect each other, safely run our operations, ensure business continuity and deliver our critical products to customers. We hope to extend this to other regions of the world as vaccines become more widely available.
“There never were in the world two opinions alike, no more than two hairs or grains; the most universal quality is diversity.” —Michel Eyquem de Montaigne (1533-1592)
