The Minscan®-B maintenance system is designed to repair refractory lining in different areas of EAFs. The gunning head can perform a continuous 360° rotation and simultaneous vertical movements from the furnace center along the banks to the upper edge of the furnace’s water-cooling panels.
This execution is stand-alone, not upgradable, and features a remote control for operation. The operator performs gunning based on visual input.
