LaCam® LI Explorer

Our laser profile measurement systems are used for non-contact scanning of refractory-lining in iron-ladles, torpedo-ladles and steel-casting ladles, as well as in open-die forging shops. Features include higher measurement accuracy, high-resolution scan, detection of gaps and cracks, precise taphole positioning analysis, sand-filling quality assessment and controlled filling process.

LaCam® CI​

Our laser profile measurement systems are used for non-contact scanning of refractory-lining in converters. Better results through lining residual thickness, lining temperature and cooling time, tendency and trend analysis, optimized runout time and yield, optimized maintenance, detection of gaps and cracks, taphold analysis, pond detection, optimum scrap adding/exhaust gas flow.

LaCam® Mobile Units

Our mobile laser profile measurement robots are used for non-contact scanning of refractory-lining in converters and ladles. Battery (re-chargeable) operated. Remote display by tablet. Highly flexible for visualization of high wear areas, optimization of brick lining and maintenance, tendency analysis and forecast of vessel lining life, bath level assessment, and more.

LaCam® EAF and Scantrol™

Our laser profile measurement systems are used for non-contact scanning of refractory-lining in Electronic Arc Furnaces. A Scantrol™ system is a closed loop system to analyze an EAF per laser scan and repair/maintenance the EAF refractory lining in an automated way by spraying. Features our MINSCAN® robotic system, Scantrol™ interface module and high-temperature video cameras provide additional safety and visual inspection.

LaCam® Torpedo Laser-Scanning Systems

Our mobile laser profile measurement systems are designed for non-contact scanning of refractory-lining of hot ladles, handling confined space with temperatures beyond 1.110°C (> 2012°F). Reduces exposure of laser system, increases safety and automated process makes obsolete employees in danger zones while providing production efficiencies.

LaCam® Forge Laser Scanning Systems

Our LaCam® Forge laser profile measurement system is used for non-contact 3D-scanning of hot open dies in forging presses to assess geometrical data, temperature profiles and guarantee a full documentation of the forging process per piece.

Distance Measurement

When you intend to improve, accelerate or automate processes, our contactless distance measuring instruments help using different technologies like laser or radar. Using fiber-optically coupled measurement probes, deployment of this equipment is permitted in ambient temperatures of up to 80°C, even in explosion-risk areas. Radar enabled devices measure in hot hostile environments (steel processes, glass processes) with high accuracy and reproducibility distances up to 25m.
