The Minscan®-LS maintenance system is designed to repair refractory lining in different areas of EAFs. The gunning head can perform continuous 360° rotations and simultaneous vertical movements from the furnace center along the banks to the upper edge of the furnace’s water-cooling panels. This execution is fully upgraded and also features a remote control for operation.
The Scantrol™ system processes directly the laser measurements and adapts the gunning strategy according to customer specific preferences.
The gunning is executed fully automatic without the need of interference of an operator, just based on the Scantrol™ data.
