Our 5th-generation LaCam®-3D software suite is a powerful collection of tools to analyze data streams produced by our LaCam® laser scanners and provide secondary information for an optimal sand-filling process through tapping-angle optimization and retained steel minimization in a ladle or converter. Bath level calculations are used for freeboard determination. The software uses composite information based on refractory thickness, absorption, and temperatures in order to detect gaps and cracks.
All virtual 3D inspection vessel data can be assessed locally in the LaCam® system by the operator or made available via the Level 2 System for further data processing.
