Our 5th-generation LaCam® mobile laser profile measurement cart M5 is used for non-contact scanning of refractory lining in converters and ladles. The unit is motorized, powered by a rechargeable battery, and operated by a radio control unit. Its integrated display as well as an additional PC tablet enable data visualization either directly at the cart or from a safe distance. The system’s scanning frequency of 900kHz enables extremely quick scanning at the highest possible resolutions. An integrated two-color pyrometer takes precise measurements of refractory temperatures.
The M5 is a highly flexible mobile system that helps our customers visualize high-wear areas, supports the optimization of brick lining, performs trend analysis, forecasts vessel lining life, and measures bath levels.
