Our 5th-generation LaCam® laser profile measurement for ladles is designed to measure the slag line and bottom of ladles with the highest possible accuracy. In addition, the purging plugs, taphole area, and impact zone can be analyzed in detail. We provide a high resolution of up to 11 million points in 24 seconds for precise analytics. These scans correspond to an opening angle of 120° in the vertical direction and a complete 360° scan in the horizontal direction. Our system also enables super-fast scans of 6 seconds, providing a resolution of 2.7 million points.
UPDATE:
Beginning in early 2026, an additional scanner setting with a measurement speed of 1,800 kHz will increase the resolution to up to 5.4 million points in a 6-second scan time, or almost 11 million points in just 12 seconds.
This super-high-resolution setting will reach a unique value of 23 million measured points in just 24 seconds.
