Our 5th-generation LaCam® laser profile measurement for EAFs is designed to measure with the wall and bank area with the highest possible accuracy. Critical data for the hot-heel, cooling area, and taphole area are assessed in a single shot. We provide a high resolution of up to 11 million points in 24 seconds for precise analytics. These scans correspond to an opening angle of 120° in the vertical direction and a complete 360° scan in the horizontal direction. Our system also enables super-fast scans of 6 seconds, providing a resolution of 2.7 million points.
UPDATE:
Beginning in early 2026, an additional scanner setting with a measurement speed of 1,800 kHz will increase the resolution to up to 5.4 million points in a 6-second scan time, or almost 11 million points in just 12 seconds.
This super-high-resolution setting will reach a unique value of 23 million measured points in just 24 seconds.
