5th generation LaCam® mobile laser profile measurement systems are used for non-contact scanning of refractory lining in converters and ladles, as well as electric-arc-furnaces (EAF’s) and torpedos. Mobile units are operated from the distance by e.g. using remote-controls, tablets.
A field of 120° * 120° e.g. can be scanned with 5,2M points in less than 12 seconds. Mobile products are highly flexible to visualize high wear areas, optimize brick lining, as well as optimize maintenance intervals, produce tendency-analysis to ultimately forecast vessel lining life.
