The Minscan® family provides automated analysis and maintenance solutions for electric-arc-furnaces (EAF’s) or ladles.
The optional LaCam® laser-system assess the condition of the refractory of an EAF or a ladle and uses the ScanTrol software to calculate the level of maintenance needed.
A Minscan® gunning arm applies material either by an automated maintenance strategy calculated by ScanTrol or in its simplest form is “shooting” refractory material per remote-control managed manually by an operator.

Manipulators are pointing lasers- or gunning-systems to the area of impact of a converter, ladle, torpedo or EAF’s. These devices guarantee very accurate and repeatable positioning in the individual set-up of the customers’ vessels.
