The measuring instruments operate according to the proven principle of optical pulse
propagation time measurement. Depending on the target surfaces, distances are measured up to 1000 m with measurement accuracies in the mm range. Objects with surface temperatures of up to ∧ 650°C can be surveyed with precision and reliability.
Using fiber-optically coupled measurement probes, deployment of this equipment is permitted in ambient temperatures of up to 80°C, even in explosion-risk areas.
